Recreational Trampolines Features

Choosing the right trampoline is an extremely important thing for future success or failure in trampolining. The wrong trampoline can be dangerous to your health and will make no benefit to your exercises.

Ask yourself for what purpose you are getting a trampoline – for fun or for serious learning?

If it’s for fun then an outdoor type is fine. For children this is also fine – playing on a trampoline brings great benefits for co-ordination development.

For serious learning it is better to choose a t professional type of trampoline. This type of trampoline is completely different from outdoor type.

Recreational trampoline is not as sturdy as a professional one. The springs in a recreational trampoline are not as strong as those used for professional trampolines.

The material of a recreational trampoline is waterproof, because it is usually used outdoors. The two main materials that are used are a special waterproof canvas or a network of woven polypropylene.

The trampolines come in a variety of size and shapes. By shape they can be circular, rectangular or octagonal. The size ranges from small to very large.

Recreational trampolines may have certain safety features:  nets and extra padding which can help to prevent the user from falling out.
